Prizes in the State Social Golf Club Championships boosted by $20K of ASGCC discounts
In the first step to link the State Championships with the Australian Championships, the prizes in all 2009 State Championships will include over $20,000 of discounts into the 2010 Australian Championships.
In the Victorian, New South Wales and Queensland State Championships, the four members of the winning team will each receive a voucher for a $500 discount on their entry into the 2010 Australian Championships.
In addition, every entrant in the Vic, NSW & QLD State Finals will receive a voucher for a $50 discount on their entry in the 2010 Australian Championships. Note that vouchers cannot be combined so individuals with multiple vouchers may only redeem one voucher (the voucher of the highest value).
As the 2009 NSW & QLD Championships are one-day events this year, every entrant will receive the $50 ASGCC voucher. Those in Victoria will have to work a bit harder by gaining entry into the Vic Final through one of the four qualifiers. The 28 teams of four in the Victorian Final win their place by finishing as one of the top seven teams in one of the four qualifiers. There are only three qualifiers left and the next one is on the highly-rated Beach Course at the 13th Beach Golf Links on Sunday August 2.
