SP Social Golf Club 2009 Australian Champions

Phil Cave, Mark Mahaffy, Steve Plunkett and Stive Cattipan from SP Social Golf Club in Victoria celebrate their win in the 2009 Australian Social Golf Club Championships (ASGCC) near the famous 18th hole at Palm Meadows. 2009 results are available now - just roll your cursor over the Schedule page tab in the navigation bar for links to the results pages. The event is the official National Championship for social golf clubs and in 2009 it was held on the Gold Coast from August 23 - 26 at:

The 2010 event will be held from August 22 - 25 and entry details will be posted here soon. For more information, see the Packages, the How to Enter and Entry Form pages. The event is proudly supported by Golf Australia, Golf Access and the governing State amateur golf bodies. It is played over four days with teams of four representing their social golf club playing stableford aggregate with both team and individual prizes on offer.

The ASGCC was originally developed by Palm Meadows in 2005 as a stand-alone event for golfers from social golf clubs. Participation is open to all Australian golfers and, from 2009, discount entry in the ASGCC will be available to participants in the State Social Golf Club Championships being developed by Social Golf Australia. The State events are:

These are all stand-alone events for official State Championships. The members of the winning teams each receive great prizes including discounted entry into the ASGCC the following year. For more information on the State SGC Championships, click on the State buttons on the left.
